Perched above Los Angeles with sweeping skyline views, this Los Feliz pied-à-terre pairs dramatic city outlooks with a raw architectural shell of exposed concrete walls. The apartment originally lacked storage, so custom white oak built-ins were designed to function as closets while introducing warmth and architectural presence. A sculptural walnut slatted fin wall adds rhythm and depth to the interiors.
In the kitchen, marble surfaces bring contrast and refinement to the industrial framework, while the living areas are layered with curated vintage furnishings that reinforce the apartment’s collected character.
The bedrooms were finished in hand-applied limewash, creating a richly textured backdrop that shifts with the changing light. The home welcomed the arrival of the clients’ first child and still remains a vibrant space for gathering and entertaining above the city.
