CLARITAS EST MATERIA
“BRIGHTNESS IS A MATERIAL”
REMEMBRANCE – AMOR FATI
Design can begin with a memory — the glint of afternoon light on a polished hotel bar, the hush of a tiled courtyard after rain, the cool touch of marble beneath your hands in a grand museum hall. These fragments of place, texture, and feeling become the compass for the spaces we create. We open the door to a memory and let it guide the creation of something new — a space that holds the same wonder and emotion, but is entirely your own.
Los Angeles Interior Design Rooted in History and Story
The Luster Kind is a California interior design studio led by founder and principal designer Nana Taimour Oldach. The studio creates richly layered, deeply personal interiors with a cinematic sensibility and a touch of whimsy. Rooted in design history, global architecture and universal design, the work brings different eras into conversation through natural materials, vintage finds and modern furnishings. Light and reflection animate each space, creating moments of quiet intimacy and unexpected drama, always grounded in comfort and the way people live.
With studios in Los Angeles and Lake Tahoe, The Luster Kind offers full service residential and commercial interior design, architectural renovations and creative direction. From complete homes, kitchens and bathrooms to individually furnished rooms, each project is shaped around the client’s architecture, lifestyle and story. Serving Beverly Hills, West Hollywood, Los Angeles and beyond.
