I am located in Maui and hired The Luster Kind to redesign and style two rental properties. Nana has great taste and instinct and was able to help with floor plans, space planning and selections. I did not have to get involved in the purchasing process which was a huge benefit to my busy life and she was able to pull together two packages in a short amount of time. My properties are running smoothly now and always booked. My clients always comment on the comfort and style of the spaces. I found Nana through Houzz for a small project that needed a quick turnaround. My husband and I were about to move into a new house and we needed a designer to choose paint colors for all rooms. Nana was quick to respond and whipped up a whole presentation with multiple options in just a couple days. We loved a lot of her suggestions but were hesitant to go a dark gray in the kitchen since I’m a fan of white, white, white. In the end, we decided to trust her and we’re so relieved we did! All rooms look significantly better but the kitchen is our favorite transformation by far. She was even able to find a match for the horrible color of our countertops.

The Luster Kind did a great job with renovation of my condo which included removing popcorn ceiling, new baseboards, new fireplace, new breakfast nook and wet bar countertops, a complete makeover of the guest bathroom and interior painting throughout. Nana has a flair for interior design and she took the time to explain good design principles to me. She was professional in coordinating the project with the contractors and sourcing the materials. I wanted a particular type of fireplace stone and she worked hard to source the stone that was perfectly suited to my taste. She quickly worked through issues and made sure the job was completed within budget and to my satisfaction.
