This interior design project in Westwood, Los Angeles, reimagines a midcentury modern home through a complete gut renovation, with the original fireplace preserved as a connection to the house’s architectural history. Located in Comstock Hills, the residence balances strong modernist geometry and warm mahogany with expressive color, tactile materials, and details designed for elevated family living.
The Luster Kind is collaborating on the interior design direction throughout the home, shaping a cohesive language across every room through materials, finishes, color, cabinetry, fixtures, and architectural details. Richly colored tile, warm woods, and brushed metal bring depth and continuity to the residence, while thoughtful universal design principles support comfort, accessibility, and long term living. Professional photography and the complete project story are coming soon.
